The Karst Cave, which is protected as a natural monument, is located on the right bank of the Savinja River along the footpath, between the Pečov Bridge over the Lights and the Igla River. The bones of a cave bear were found in it, which are on display in the Regional Museum in Celje.
The cave is 237 meters long and 30 meters deep. It was created by groundwater from the Dleskovac plateau. It is rich in speleofauna, including the endemic beetle Orotrechus lucensis, so it is closed with a net – you can get the key at the nearby Pečovnik farm.
Below the Trbiška Zijalka, there are three smaller caves on the banks of the Savinja River, from which karst springs erupt during heavy rains.
