At an abandoned farm on a wooded ridge above Solčava, on the way to Hribarska zijalka, the largest yew tree in Slovenia grows. The trunk has a circumference of 240 centimeters, the tree is 9 meters high, and its age is estimated at more than 500 years. Due to its exceptional dimensions, the yew tree is declared a natural monument. The ascent along the forest path requires a 20-minute walk.
