In 1928, in one of the most important archaeological and paleontological caves in Slovenia, which lies on the slope of the Olševa River, Srečko Brodar found the bones of a cave bear and the tools of a Stone Age hunter, over 30,000 years old. This 109-meter-deep cave is nothing special, but it offers fantastic views, and you will also be rewarded with homemade delicacies from the farms in Podolševa.
You can see more about the Ice Age settlements and the discoveries of life at that time in the Museum of the Bright Stream in the Logar Valley.
